See Fremantle's amazing odds and the latest betting moves for AFL Round 6 from TAB's Nick Quinn and Shaun Anderson.

IN A a battle of two teams playing poorly, punters have again opted to stick with the Tigers.

After Richmond lost to Melbourne last Sunday, TAB eased the Tigers from $1.70 to $1.80 and the Power firmed to $2.10.

Despite Richmond losing Alex Rance to suspension, it has since firmed to $1.36.

These two teams have won just one match combined from their past eight — Port against Essendon in Round 3.

Punters obviously believe that Port, having lost stars Chad Wingard and Robbie Gray to injury, is in a more perilous state than Richmond.

Despite the odds, TAB’s Trent Langskaill said the money was evenly split between the two clubs.

Richmond has won four and drawn one of its past six games against Port. The loss was in the 2014 elimination final.

Port has lost its past four MCG matches.

BATTLE OF THE SLIDERS

Richmond and Port were both prominent in early flag betting.

When markets opened in October, Port was $11 and Richmond $13. At one stage of the pre-season, Port drifted to $17 but was then backed into $15.

Both stayed at $15 after Round 1 victories but since then they’ve been “out the gate”.

A month later you can get $101 on Richmond and $151 on Port.

CHASING THE MONEY: BLUES V BOMBERS

Carlton has firmed after recording its first win of the season against Fremantle.

It was $1.50 after Sunday’s win and has since firmed to $1.36. The Bombers eased from $2.60 to $2.65 after their loss to Collingwood on Anzac Day and have continued to drift since, out to $3.15.

Essendon tends to play well against Carlton with four wins and a draw from their past five encounters.

The Bombers remain wooden spoon favourites at $1.60. The Blues are out from $2.25 to $4.50 after beating Freo.

VALUE BET

The $1.80 looks good value for the red-hot Demons against the Saints.

BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN

TAB has a market on Petracca’s debut. You can get $4 on the Demon gathering 25 or more possessions and kicking one or more goals.
